Terms & Conditions
1. Making your booking
Your booking is made as a consumer for the purpose of a holiday and/or tour and you acknowledge that no liability can be accepted for any business losses howsoever suffered or incurred by you. The Firm does not arrange international flights so travel to/and from Egypt must be arranged by the consumer.
2. Paying for your booking
You are required to send to us your deposit payment for the tour as requested by us on booking. The balance of any payment requested must be paid at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the holiday or tour unless otherwise agreed by us in writing. If you fail to make a payment due to us in full and on time we may treat your booking as cancelled by you. Please note that any bank charges, paypal fees and FX exposure must be borne by you.
3. If you cancel or amend your booking
If you need to cancel or amend your booking you must contact us via email or telephone as shown on the written confirmation as soon as possible.
If cancellation is by telephone you will also be required to confirm your cancellation in writing or by email to the addresses shown on our written confirmation. A cancellation will not take effect until we receive written confirmation from you.
If you cancel your booking within seven days of receiving our written confirmation, we will refund the balance of any money you have paid us. After such period, if you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to the Arrival Date, we will refund the Initial Deposit less a £30 administration fees together with the balance of any money you have paid to us.
If you cancel your booking less than 30 days prior to the Arrival Date, we reserve the right to retain the Initial Deposit unless we are able to re-sell the holiday or tour. In these circumstances we will refund the deposit (less any additional costs incurred) to you if we are able to secure an alternative booking for the tour.
4. If we cancel or amend your booking
We would not expect to have to make any changes to your booking, but sometimes problems occur and we do have to make alterations or, very occasionally cancel bookings.
If this does happen, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably practical and inform you of the cancellation or the change to your booking and, if it is necessary to cancel your booking, we will refund the balance of any money you have paid us.
You agree to take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property. No liability to you is accepted in respect of damage to or loss of such property, except where the damage or loss is caused by our negligence. You agree to ensure that each member of your party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage).
Our maximum liability for losses you suffer as a result of us acting in breach of these terms and conditions is strictly limited to the amount paid by you for the holiday or tour and any losses which are a foreseeable consequence of us breaking the agreement. Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and us at the time your order is accepted by us.
This does not include or limit in any way our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or for any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.
We will not pay any compensation for changes which arise as a result of situations beyond our control. For example technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes imposed by rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or main charterer, the alteration of the airline or aircraft type, refusal of landing rights by the CAA to any airline. This also includes any other acts of force majeure, namely: war or threat of war, terrorist activity, riots, civil strife, strikes and other industrial disruption, natural disasters, fire, quarantine, epidemics, bad weather conditions, Government action, or other such unforeseen events.
The contract between you and us is governed by the law of England and Wales and we both agree that any dispute, matter or other issue which arises between us will be dealt with by the Courts of England and Wales
These policies apply to individuals only and may be changed at any time, provided a notice of such change is given to you. We do not disclose any of the personal information you have supplied us when registering for access to our Website to anyone, other than to our affiliates, and except as permitted by law, such as to our attorneys and certain service providers, in such case, only as necessary to facilitate the acceptance and management of registration to this Website. We will also release information about you if you direct us to do so, if compelled to do so by law, or in connection with any government or regulatory organisation request or investigation. We may also disclose information you provide to us to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. If such a disclosure is made, Little Pharaoh Tours Limited LLP will require such third parties to treat your private information with confidentiality. We seek to carefully safeguard your private information and, to that end, restrict access to non-public personal information about you to those employees and other persons who need to know the information to enable Little Pharaoh Tours Limited to provide our services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your non-public personal information.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the United Kingdom’s Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for two reasons: first, to process your registration and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing e-mail from us.
